Batu Bolong – ‘Hollow Rock’ is a Pinnacle that lies in 75m of water between Tatawa and Komodo. Above sea level it is just a small rock which could be easily missed if you do not know the coordinates. Underwater, however, it is a big conic (rounded) massive rock. We dived it during slack tide but it can be dived at other times if you can stay in the shade of the rock (ie either the Northern or Southern side) depending on the direction of the tidal current.

Absolutly fantastic dive, blew us all away. Everyone one else was having their surface breaks when we arrived so we had it to ourselves for much of the dive. Read here for more on my blog pageĀ Day 2 blog
